About the Event

Join artist Howard Danelowitz and gallerist Alison Collins of Iris Gallery for an afternoon exploration of contemporary geometric abstraction set within the historic architecture of The Buttonball Inn.

The event begins with a self-guided viewing of Danelowitz’s large-scale oil on linen works installed throughout the Inn—including multi-panel diptychs and selections from his Zip Line Series and Wave Series. Following the viewing, Danelowitz will lead an artist talk examining how spatial tension, fluid geometry, and color glazes operate across different structural series, and how modern non-figurative compositions interact with historic interior spaces.
